He graduated from Tohoku High School and the Tohoku Fukushi University Golf Club. During his fourth year of university, he was encouraged by professional Masayoshi Wada to participate in a long drive competition. After that, he became a long drive professional and began seriously competing in long drive events starting in 2019, and won 8th place in Long Drive Japan Championship in 2019 and 2020.
