Welcome To The ALDA
ASIA LONG DRIVE ASSOCIATION(ALDA) serves as the governing body responsible for the administration & development of Long Drive sport in Asia.
Founded by actively competing professionals in different fields, the ALDA is dedicated to promoting the sport of long drive in Asia and beyond. The Asia Long Drive Championship & Tour Events Series are managed and run by the ALDA – showcase the top players at the highest level in some of the most unique and stunning locations across Asia. These major events play a crucial role in promoting the Long Drive sport in Asia.
ALDA’s mission is to reorganize and professionalize the sport, establish standardized operational rules, a fair competition structure, and a comprehensive ranking system. The overarching goal is to foster the growth of Long Drive in Asia and internationally, with the ultimate aspiration of elevating it to the status of an Olympic discipline.
The ALDA Competition Structure
The ALDA Competition system is structured in 3 dimensions – The Championship, Tour Events & Affiliate Events.
The Asia Long Drive Championship
The Asia Long Drive Championship features the best players from around Asia & Pacific-Ocean countries in some of the most incredible locations around Asia. The Championship will held in November every year, the top players from the affiliate country shall participate in the 3 days events to compete for the champions of the year in each division.
Tour Events
The Tour Event is an Invitation Only events for Open Division & Women’s Division. Only the top 16-32 ranked players of ALDA members are invited to participate. ALDA is aiming to increase the Tour Events from 1 to 12 events yearly over the next decade throughout to different countries in Asia.
The Tours Event consist play in both of a “Simulator Event” or an “Regular Event”.
Affiliate Events
Affiliate Events are run by Long Drive Sport Organizations in different countries that are national member of ALDA. These national members are responsible for managing, promoting and organizing long drive events in their respective country or territory.
Ranking System
The ALDA implements a comprehensive ranking system that meticulously evaluates the performance of our long drive players throughout the region.
The ALDA ranking system not only celebrates the accomplishments of top-tier players but also provides emerging talents with a clear pathway to recognition and success within the thrilling realm of the sport across Asia.
